This guideline specifies the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 for testing laboratories that carry out microbiological tests of useful water (sampling and laboratory tests) on evaporative cooling systems, cooling towers and wet separators, and the requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17020 for inspection bodies (type A) that carry out checks of the proper operation of evaporative cooling systems, cooling towers and wet separators.
