La présente partie de la CEN/TS 13126 spécifie les exigences et méthodes d'essai relatives à l'endurance, à la résistance, à la sécurité des biens et au fonctionnement des organes de manoeuvre pour crémones/verrous. Elle s'applique à toutes les poignées de manoeuvre ou boutons avec carré, poignées leviers et verrous utilisés sur les fenêtres et portes-fenêtres. Les ferrures suivantes sont exclues: a) les dispositifs de manoeuvre pour serrures de portes à pêne dormant ou pêne demi-tour; b) les dispositifs électro-mécaniques.
