Le but de cet essai est de déterminer la pression hydrostatique nécessaire au percement d'un dispositif d'étanchéité par géomembranes (DEG) posé sur support poinçonnant. Un granulat type est défini mais l'essai peut être réalisé avec tout autre support poinçonnant dans le cadre d'essais de performance.
