Abstract

Sets out, in two Parts, the conditions as agreed between ESAA and Telstra Corporation whereby the poles of an electricity supply utility, or Telstra, may be jointly used by both parties. Part A sets out general administrative and financial conditions and procedures. Part B specifies engineering conditions for normal and special joint use, also maintenance and safe working conditions.

Scope

The Arrangement shall apply where the poles of either party are used to support the plant of both parties except where the conductors of one party are attached to the poles of the other party for the purpose of crossing the lines of the other party.
It shall apply only to poles owned by a Power Utility or Telstra. If Joint Use is required on poles otherwise owned special negotiation between the parties concerned will be necessary.
