Specifies the requirements of acrylonitrile plastics materials, including acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and styrene acrylonitrile (SAN) (in the form of granules or powder), for use in the manufacture of plastics items for food contact use, but does not apply to acrylonitrile dispersions. It prescribes composition requirements and restricts the use of the various additives as appropriate.
