Specifies the recorded characteristic for magnetic sound records on perforated 8 mm Type S motion-picture film running at nominal speed of 2 4 frames per second or 25 frames per second. Tolerances are specified on the recorded levels and reproduction. It is technically identical with ISO 2968.
