Sets out minimum requirements to ensure uniform control of camber adjustment procedures for all motor vehicles fitted with 'i' beam steer axle assemblies, to standardize axle camber adjustment procedures, have manufacturers adopt industry recommended practices and is intended for use where no manufacturer's specified process exists.

This Standard applies to all motor vehicles fitted with ‘I’ beam steer axle assemblies, including buses, prime movers, rigid vehicles and twin steered vehicles and does not apply to four wheel drive vehicles or any tubular section axle assemblies and rear or drive axle assemblies.The Standard provides minimum requirements for ‘I’ beam steer axle adjustment procedures.NOTES: 1 This Standard should be used in conjunction with any National/Federal, State or Territory regulations or Rules.2 The procedures in this Standard are not designed to correct problems arising from accident damage to axles.
