Series of 29 total immersion thermometers for checking the accuracy of other thermometers in the range -80°C to 505°C. Materials, essential dimensions, graduation and figuring. Appendices: thermometric glasses approved by the NPL; annealing and stabilization; test procedure; values for uncertainty of test.

This British Standard specifies a comprehensive series of secondary reference (SR) thermometers for calibrating other thermometers in laboratory and industrial use.
