Defines methods of cutting knotted netting to shape by means of straight cuts; defines the types of cut and gives rules for designating cutting rates.

This British Standard defines the different methods of cutting knotted netting to shape by means of straight cuts, the types of cut (N-, T- and Bar-cut) and the rules for the designation of the cutting rate. (See BS 4440 for the definitions of the symbols N and T in netting.)
