    Describes requirements for single and double glazed aluminium framed sliding doors. Excludes sliding folding doors and heavy duty non-residential sliding doors and those containing panels exceeding 1500mm in length or 2400mm in height. The doors shall consist of two or more panels of glass in aluminium frames in an aluminium outer frame such that one or more panels are movable by sliding in a horizontal direction. The panels may be sliding or fixed. The doors are not designed to withstand imposed structural loads.
