Covers the sampling of suspended solids for the purpose of investigating and monitoring freshwater quality, and particularly to flowing freshwater systems, for example streams and rivers. Certain parts of this standard may apply to reservoirs and impoundments, and freshwater lakes. However, field sampling programmes may differ and are not necessarily covered here.
