Gives a test method for determining the chloride content of sodium metasilicate pentahydrate. Suitable for products having chloride contents, expressed as sodium chloride (NaCI) in the range 0.03% to 0.55% (m/m).

This Part of BS 6092 describes a method of test for determining the chloride content of sodium metasilicate pentahydrate and is applicable to products having chloride contents, expressed as sodium chloride (NaCl) in the range 0.03 % to 0.55 % (m/m).

There is no International Standard corresponding to this Part of BS 6092.
