Describes the safety and interchangeability requirements, required to show compliance of tubular fluorescent and other gas-discharge lamps with integrated means for controlling starting and stable operation. Intended for domestic and similar general lighting purposes, having a wattage up to 60 W, voltage of 100 V to 250 V and edison screw or bayonet caps. Covers definitions, general requirement and general test requirements, marking, protection against electric shock, insulation resistance and electric strength after humidity treatment, mechanical strength, cap temperature rise, resistance to heat, resistance to flame and ignition and fault conditions.
