Gives a method for determining the abrasion resistance of the outer cover of rubber hoses. It is mainly intended for testing of hydraulic hoses with textile or wire reinforcement and a smooth and parallel cover. Not designed to predict product abrasion life, but is suitable for comparison of quality levels.
