Die Adapterausstattung für den Kraftstoffeinheitskanister 20 L (Stahl) nach VersNr 7240-12-179-3054 wird in den unterschiedlichsten Gerätesätzen der Bundeswehr und als Einzelgerät verwendet. Die Adapterausstattung wird zur leckagefreien Betriebsstoffabgabe aus Kraftstoffeinheitskanister beim Einsatz von Kraftstoffkleinverbrauchern verwendet. Das Gerät besteht aus einer handbetätigten Pumpe, einem kraftstoffbeständigen Kunststoffschlauch mit einer Schnelltrennkupplung zum Anschluss der Kraftstoffverbrauchsgeräte und einem Kanisterverschluss zum Aufsetzen auf die Auslauftülle des Kraftstoffeinheitskanisters.
