Die Druckgasflaschen werden für den Transport, die Lagerung und die Bereitstellung von Prüfgas verwendet. Das Prüfgas dient zum Eichen des Prüfstandes MES 2. Die Druckgasflaschen fallen nach den verkehrsrechtlichen Beförderungsbestimmungen unter den Begriff der "Gefässe". Im weiteren Text wird als Arbeitsbegriff "Druckgasflasche" verwendet.
