FASC 6596 E La presente norma (Blank detail) rappresenta la base di una procedura standard per un Marchio Europeo. In essa viene stabilita la lista delle approvazioni per i test di sicurezza della EN 138100, viene richiesta un Dichiarazione di progetto comprendente i parametri relativi alla sicurezza, prescrive i test di conformità che devono essere effettuati su ogni lotto prima del rilascio definisce i test di riqualificazione a seguito di cambiamenti nella progettazione. La norma riguarda specificatamente le prove di sicurezza. Mentre la EN 138101 è indicata per componenti con produzione di massa, la presente 138121 si applica principalmente nei casi in cui le prove per l'approvazione e per la riqualificazione incidono considerevolmente sul costo del prodotto. La presente Norma viene pubblicata dal CEI nella sola lingua originale inglese, a causa della limitata utilizzazione, particolarmente mirata a settori specialistici.
