FASC 5166 Si applica ai generatori di alta tensione per generatori radiologici per la diagnostica compresi quelli montati nello stesso complesso tubo-guina e a quelli per simulatori di trattamento di radioterapia. Non si applica ai generatori di alta tensione a scarica di condensatori, ai generatori di alta tensione per mammografia e ai generatori di alta tensione per tomografia ricostruttiva.
