FASC 13922 E. La Norma specifica l'estensione del Modello Informativo Comune (CIM) al fine di favorire la comunicazione all'interno del mercato dell'energia. Il CIM è un modello astratto che rappresenta i principali oggetti presenti all'interno di un'azienda elettrica tipicamente coinvolta nell'offerta del servizio e nella gestione del mercato dell'elettricità. Con l'estensione del CIM prevista dalla presente Norma si favorisce l'integrazione di applicazioni di gestione del mercato sviluppate da costruttori diversi, grazie ad una rappresentazione comune e condivisa degli oggetti di interesse (ad esempio assegnazione di capacità, bilanciamento della potenza fornita).
