This publication is a revision of the original Z3 Recommended Practice Grouting of Prestressing Ducts and Ground Anchors which was published in 1982. The content of this publication has been narrowed to focus on prestressing ducts. Some commentary is provided on the protection of anchorages.
Rather than incorporating large sections from major reference material, the authors have recognised the standing of four significant publications on the topic and readers are provided with details on their availability.
New standards and practices for grouting have been introduced internationally leading to new technology and procedures which are available in Australia and, while not yet in an Australian standard, are being specified by Road Authorities. The recommendations contained in this publication are in agreement with the latest international practice
