Provides technical revisions to existing classifications and prescribes criteria for the classification and certification of low alloy steel electrodes for shielded metal arc welding. The revised test procedure has been introduced in accordance with recommendations of the International Institute of Welding and is similar to that adopted by the American Welding Society.
