Specifies electrical plugs and sockets unsealed (Pattern 106), telephone jacks and plugs, unsealed, 3 and 4 contact types (pattern 107) for audio frequency use on inter-communication circuits and switchboard operators' headsets, and 3, 5 and 8 contact types (Pattern 108) for switchboards. Jacks of 108 series are in single units or strips of 10 and 20.
