Confirms that the EUT will withstand short transients imposed upon its power and signal cables by local switching and NEMP transients. Applies to all equipment in the category Type 1 for use by the Land Service. Applies to each power line individually and each control and signal cable bunch. Does not apply to equipment directly connected to antennas.
