This Standard is included in DIN Handbook 171. Applies to 90degree elbows (Type E1) and 45degree elbows (Type E2) made of glass fibre reinforced plastics (GFK) on the basis of unsaturated polyester resins (UP resins) the laminate structure of which corresponds to Type A, B, D or E pipes (see clause 3) and complies with the requirements specified in DIN 16966 Part 1.
