Diese Norm gilt für Rohrbündel-Wärmeaustauscher mit Innenrohren aus unlegierten, legierten und nichtrostenden Stählen. Sie legt für nahtlose Stahlrohre nach DIN 28180 und für geschweisste Stahlrohre nach DIN 28181 Rohrteilungen fest und nennt für diese Rohre die Soll-Durchmesser der Bohrungen in den Rohrböden und die maximalen Durchmesser der Bohrungen in den Umlenksegmenten und Stützplatten.
