Dieser Teil der IEC 61300 legt das Verfahren zur Messung der Moden-Transferfunktion (MTF) fest, das zur Beschreibung der Einkopplungsbedingungen bei Messungen der Dämpfung und der Rückflussdämpfung von passiven Mehrmodenbauteilen anzuwenden ist. Die MTF darf bei den Betriebswellenlängen gemessen werden.
