Das in diesem Teil von IEC 62137 beschriebene Prüfverfahren gilt für oberflächenmontierbare Bauelemente mit einer dünnen und breiten Grundfläche, wie QFP und BGA. Mit diesem Verfahren ist die Haltbarkeit der Lötverbindungen zwischen den Bauelementeanschlüssen und den Anschlussflächen auf einem Träger durch zyklisches Biegen des Trägers zu bewerten.
