Specifies the Protocol Implementation Conformance Statement (PICS) proforma for the implementation flexibility allowed for a V5.1 interface defined in ETS 300 324-1 [1]. lt allows either the Network Operator to formulate the requirements for V5.1 interface implemented in an Access Network (AN) or Local Exchange (LE), or to decide whether an implementation meets these requirements. lt details in tabular form the implementation options, i.e. the optional functions additional to those which are mandatory to implement.

DevelopmentNote	superseded by a German-only header sheet called DIN EN 300324-2, which merely endorses the English Jun99 version of EN 300324-2 (V 1.2.3) as a German standard.
