Proposes the adoption of ISO/IEC 14598-2:2000 which provides the requirements, recommendations and guidelines for a supporting function within an organisation which is responsible for the management of software product evaluation and for technologies necessary for software product evaluation. Copies of ISO/IEC 14598-2 can be purchased from or viewed at Standards Australia head office or at Standards New Zealand. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
