Specifies the design, rating and testing of indoor type, metal clad switchgear and controlgear incorporating fused switching devices of the air break or vacuum break type, in combination with high breaking capacity (hbc) fuse links for short circuit protection of the main circuit. The equipments is suitable for use on 3.3 kV, 3 phase, 50Hz systems in which the neutral point is earthed either solidly or through a resistor and/or inductor. Does not cover relay panels cubicles which do not form an integral part of the switchgear.
