This specification covers the requirements for the preservation, packing, and container marking of all types of electrical and fiber optic connectors (including interconnectors, splices, couplers, splitters, mixers, and associated accessories) which are primarily classified under Federal Supply Classes (FSC’s) 5935, 6005, and 6060 (see 6.1).
