Gives the test procedure for a non-invasive measurement of X-ray tube voltages employing the energy spectrum of X-rays (spectrometric method). Applies to the 10 kV to 500 kV voltage range.The correspondence of the actual voltage is checked with the indicated value on he control panel of the X-ray unit. It measures the maximum energy and not complete X-ray spectrum. Covers tank type and constant potential X-ray units.
