Defines method of preparation of detail specifications for signal transformers for release under the terms of IEC 1248-1 (QC 260000) capability approval, including a blank detail specification (BDS) showing the format, and indicating which tests are appropriate to this component type. The final selection of tests for inclusion in the inspection schedule is at the discretion of the specification writer. In addition it lists appropriate ratings and characteristics.
