Defines methods of measuring biological degradations in the visual grading of sawn and round timber for appearance or for assessment of its mechanical properties. Not applicable to strength grading of structural timber. Applicable to hardwood and softwood sawn timber, square-edged and unedged, to processed and to round timber, but not to tropical timber.
