La présente partie de cette Norme européenne prescrit les exigences mécaniques de sécurité des tables de travail de bureau. NOTE: Dans la version anglaise, les termes 'table' et 'desk' ont la même signification. Pour une simplification, seul le terme 'table' est utilisé. Une norme similaire est en préparation pour les meubles de rangement. Il convient que les tables de travail de bureau incluant des éléments de rangement satisfassent les 2 normes lorsque cela s'applique.
