Le présent document fixe les règles auxquelles doit satisfaire une installation de Robinets d'Incendie Armés (R.I.A.) pour assurer le service qui lui est demandé c'est-à-dire: - permettre une première intervention d'urgence dans la lutte contre l'incendie en attendant que des moyens plus puissants soient mis en oeuvre. Le domaine d'application du présent document vise les installations de réseaux de R.I.A. conformes à la norme NF EN 671-1 équipant tous types de bâtiments, quelle qu'en soit l'activité. Il vise également la maintenance des réseaux de R.I.A. conformément aux prescriptions de la norme NF EN 671-3.
