Establishes minimum performance requirements for the steel shelving commonly known as single-tier bracket (freestanding) book-stack, comprising of two upright support columns per modular section with adjustable shelves cantilever-hung on brackets on both sides of the uprights. Such shelving complies with three criteria: a) shelf adjustability, b) shelf length and width, c) design use.
