Diese ÖNORM definiert Begriffe und Produktgruppen für Öle und Wachse zur Behandlung von Holzoberflächen in der Innen- und Aussenanwendung. Sie dient der exakten Bezeichnung und Einteilung dieser Beschich-tungsstoffe auf Grund ihrer chemischen Basis und/oder physikalischen Eigenschaften der Bindemittel. Die neben den Bindemitteln enthaltenen Lösemittel, Pigmente, Farb- und Hilfsstoffe bleiben in dieser ÖNORM unberücksichtigt. Diese ÖNORM ist in Ergänzung zur ÖNORM EN ISO 4618 anzuwenden.
