Diese Norm legt die maximal zulässigen Temperaturen und Drücke fest sowie Werkstoffe, Anschlussmasse, Toleranzen und Prüfungverfahren von Fittings aus Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen mit oder ohne galvanischen Überzug. Dieser Teil der EN 1254 legt die Abmessungen fest, die für den Anschluss von Kapillarlötfittings an Kupferrohre nach EN 1057 geeignet sind. Die Fittings können eine Kombination aller Endtypen sein, die in EN 1254-1 bis 1254-5 oder einer anderen Norm festgelegt sind.
