Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gilt für Stecker, Steckdosen, Fahrzeugkupplungen, Fahrzeugstecker und Kabelgarnituren für Elektrofahrzeuge für den Einsatz in leitungsgebundenen Ladesystemen, die Steuer- und Regeleinrichtungen enthalten, deren Bemessungs- Betriebsspannung nicht überschreitet: 690 V Wechselspannung mit einer Frequenz von 50 Hz bis 60 Hz bei einem Bemessungsstrom bis 250 A sowie 600 V Gleichspannung bei einem Bemessungsstrom bis 400 A.
