Bellcore's preliminary view of the proposed generic requirements for a subset of system management functions at the OS/NE interface in an OSI communications environment. The information model presented in this document is intended to supplement the information model defined in TR NWT-000836. The system management functions covered in the model resource provisioning, transport configuration, alarm surveillance, protection switching and transmission performance monitoring. This information is expressed using ISO GDMO templates.
