Provides a procedure for determination of comparative peel or stripping characteristics of adhesive or polyethylene-bonded, non-porous substrates. It is suitable for testing the adhesion of coatings to non-porous, low-stiffness substrates which cannot be tested with a bond tester such as described by Guillotte and MacDermott. The test procedure specifies standard sized specimens and defines conditions of pretreatment for measurement of resistance at 90 deg peel at a separation rate of 304.8 mm (12 in.)/min. For high-stiffness combinations, a procedure is referred to in Section 12.
