This part of ISO 10993 specifies the permissible limits for the residual content of ethylene oxide (EO) and ethylene chlorohydrin (residual ECH) in individual medical devices sterilized with EO, the methods for measuring EO and ECH, and the procedures for determining conformity so that the devices may be released
