Compiled to provide further insight into the problems and solutions of cracking in prestressed concrete. This publication consists of seven papers reflecting the perspectives of both research and practice. Subjects covered include: cracking impartially prestressed beams; anchorage zone cracking of post-tensioned bridge decks; stresses, strains and bursting cracks in anchorage zones of post-tensioned beams; and cracking of partially prestressed concrete beams. Papers on flexural cracking behavior of partially prestressed pretensioned and post-tensioned beams, and cracking in prestressed concrete structures are also included.
