Applies to syringes individually packed with or without needles and graduated to 100 'units' in 2-unit intervals. Appendices include test methods for durability of scale, precision of capacity line and dead space, fit of plunger in barrel, watertightness of connection between needle and barrel, particulate contamination, extractable metals, toxicity, sterility and pyrogens, and testing of unit packs for leakage.
