This Standard describes the procedure for determining the cement content of hardened Portland cement concrete. The method is intended primarily for use where the aggregates do not release soluble silica or lime under the conditions of test and where the concrete has not been chemically attacked by external agencies. Where samples of the aggregate used in the concrete are not available for testing, this method of test can be used, but the results will only determine the possible maximum value for the cement content.
