1.1This test method covers the determination of the specific gravity of oils and liquid fats by calculating the ratio of the weight of a unit volume of the sample to the weight of a unit volume of water at 25 °C.
1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
