This code provides for the qualification of welding procedures by test to assure that welds have the ductility, strength, and toughness necessary for use in redundant structures. Coverage includes design of welded connection, shielded metal arc welding, submerged arc welding; gas metal arc and flux cored arc welding, electroslag and electrogas welding, control of welding variables, welding operator qualifications, qualifications of tack welders. Also contains detailed tables and diagrams.
