Specifies materials, construction and performance requirements for Grade A pans designed to withstand sterilization at 134°C; Grade B disinfection at 100°C.

This British Standard specifies materials, construction and performance requirements for reusable sanitary pans intended for use with commode chairs.

GradeA pans are designed to withstand heat sterilization at 134°C; gradeB pans are capable of withstanding heat disinfection at 100°C.

NOTE1 Appendix A gives details of the information to be supplied by the purchaser to the manufacturer.
