NO CONTENTS SECTION

Measures the percentage mass of resin exuded from stacked layers of impregnated fabric when pressed between heated platens.

This method describes a procedure for assessing the flow of resin under heat and pressure from glass fabric impregnated with polyester, epoxy or silicone resin.

By appropriate choice of moulding conditions the method may be applicable to all types of resin impregnated substrates, e.g. paper, cotton fabric, cotton/synthetic fibre fabric, glass mat, glass rovings and also other resins, e.g. phenolic, melamine and polyamide.
